Privacy Awareness in Healthcare Training (Dental)

This course is for all Dentists, Dental Surgeons, Orthodontists, Allied Health Professionals, Employees and other associates in Canada. It outlines basic healthcare privacy principles, how to handle personal information, use safeguards, and recognize and report a privacy breach. HIA legislation requires mandatory regular privacy training for anyone considered an "affiliate" of patient healthcare records. Course duration is 2.0 to 2.5 hours in length and is authored by Corridor’s healthcare subject matter expert Jean L. Eaton, Information Managers.

A personalized printable certificate of achievement is provided once the course is completed. This certificate is available to both the employee and administrator, providing a detailed tracking record of compliance.
