Corridor’s Creating a Safe and Respectful Workplace, is a two-part training course.
Part 1: Diversity & Inclusion and Equity & Accessibility Training in the Workplace authored by Jennifer Mak, DEI Subject Matter Expert. Learn why diversity and inclusion training in the workplace along with why equity and accessibility are equally important. Discussion on stereotypes, discrimination, and how prejudice can lead to harassment. The course includes personal reflective exercises and, DEI definitions and resources. Understand that diversity and inclusion fall under both federal human rights legislation and provincial and territorial legislation.
Part 2: Workplace Bullying, Harassment and Violence Training authored by Glenn French, Workplace Violence, Harassment and Bullying Subject Matter Expert. Learn how psychological harassment and bullying, increase the risk of violence at work. How to identify, prevent and respond to behaviours of concern. This course fulfills employers obligations to comply with federal and provincial legislation and training requirements regarding workplace violence, bullying and harassment in Canada.
