Privacy Awareness in Healthcare Training (Canada)
The course is designed specifically for healthcare professionals to comply from a national perspective, and includes detailed resources for each province and territory with key terminology and applicable privacy legislation. Resources are provided for Canada's 10 provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan, and 3 territories: Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Yukon. Course duration is 2.0 to 2.5 hours in length and is authored by Corridor’s healthcare subject matter expert Jean L. Eaton, Information Managers. The Canada course is approved for CPE credits: 2.5 IAPP credits and 4 CCHL MOC II credits.
A personalized printable certificate of achievement is provided once the course is completed. This certificate is available to both the employee and administrator, providing a detailed tracking record of compliance.
